Hattie Clarke is a Welsh writer living in London. Always drawn to the past, she worked in marketing for the British Museum and National Portrait Gallery before starting to write historical fiction about women that fascinated her. She writes under the watchful eyes of two witchy cats and a setter called Shelley.
